Taryn is a Portuguese-Irish writer + director. She just wrapped as Co-Executive Producer on Is Everything Ok? with Jack Schlossberg (unreleased), and additional credits include being the Writer's Assistant on The Other Games (Hartbeat/Peacock).

Taryn writes comedies and dramadies about girls getting into trouble. She’s a 2x Semi-finalist at the Austin Film Festival, a finalist for the Rooster Teeth Women in Animation Fellowship (Hollywood Haunt), and a Semi-finalist for the Warner Brother’s Pilot Award (Father, Forgive Me). Her feature, FANGIRLS, was also an official selection for Coverfly’s Pitch Week.

She also directs narrative and commercial work. Her films have been official selections of San Diego Intl. Film Festival; Offshore Film Festival (Winner, Best Experimental Film); Rome Prisma Intl. Film Awards (Nominee, Best Animation Film); and many more. Her commercial work has played on television in local and national spots anywhere moms watch reality tv. 

Currently, Taryn’s in post-production on comedian Britt Migs’ debut special, Dolphin Mode, which she directed for the stage and live taping. You can catch BRITT MIGS: Dolphin Mode at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August.
